THINGS TO DO IN TULUM

Here are a few of my favorite experiences to do whenever I visit Tulum, Mexico!

1. Visit and tour the Mayan ancient ruins. This experience is about 15$ per person and it is located in downtown Tulum. You can either go with a tour group or visit on your own, either way it will be an amazing experience where you will learn so much history. This will take you at least 2 hours and will require a lot of walking so make sure you’re wearing something comfy.

2. Visit the Akumal Monkey sanctuary where you will see so many animals who come here sick or orphaned and are treated and fostered by the sanctuary until they are healthy enough to be released into the wild. Such an amazing experience and I highly recommend. Cost is roughly 25$ per person and is a little drive from downtown Tulum

3. Exploring downtown! This is a must. Whether it’s by walking or ATVing make sure you check out all the local streets and vendors. ATVing or scootering definitely let’s you grasp the full downtown experience because you can cover so much more than walking. Make sure you bring a license with you if you’re planning on renting a vehicle.

4. Visit the cenotes!!!! This is an AMAZING experience. Probably one of the most amazing things I have ever done. Cenotes are underground caves filled with water. You can swim in them and hike through them. The water is freezing but so we’ll worth the experience.
