Skincare Clean Out!! 😫😱

I had to clean out a lot of old skincare that I had unopened and unused for years. I know that you don’t want to use expired products on your skin.

Unopened products: Typically last for 2-3 years.

Opened products: The shelf life is usually shorter, around 6 months to 1 year.

Here's a breakdown of typical shelf life for different types of skincare products:

Cleansers: 6 months to 1 year

Toners: 6 months to 1 year

Serums: 6 months to 1 year

Moisturizers: 6 months to 1 year

Sunscreens: 1 year (or less if exposed to extreme heat or light)

Eye creams: 6 months to 1 year

Look for the "Period After Opening" (PAO) symbol on the product's packaging. This is a small jar with a number inside, indicating the number of months the product is good for after opening.
