Weekends during the school year are for resettling and relaxing! We love to bond as a family on the weekends. our weekdays are so busy and tend to be chaotic tbh. 🤣

The weekend, especially for young kids, is a great time to SLOW DOWN. Nowadays society is so busy, everyone has their kid in 3 plus activities at young ages, it's not good for their well-being. Yes, extracurriculars are beneficial, but stick to one or two until they get a little older and adjusted to school life.

What's important to my family, is that we bond together and spend quality time. it doesn't have to be expensive. going out to your local nature center for a hike or an event is fun for all ages! The kids get to spend time with you and you get to be present. On Sundays we like to do a little reset to prepare for the week ahead. then if we have time we may do something else outside the home.
