We got engaged!

After leaving the most toxic relationship of my life, 6 years wasted, I met this wonderful man (surprisingly) online via a mutual friend. We talked and IMMEDIATELY clicked!😍

He is the first person I ever truly felt a connection with. This is the sort of love I only thought existed in my fantasy book series. 😅

Of course, we have our arguments. Every healthy relationship does, but the good days obviously outweigh the bad💕

I spent 6 years with someone, thinking I was broken for not feeling any love or connection with them. Then they pressured me to become a poly group with another friend and his bf. They went behind our backs, cornered us separately, and pressured us to agree so they could ethically cheat. I was done. 🙄

I left them all and immediately got to reconnect with old friends who had been blocked because of those a-holes. One friend introduced me to a Discord server where he was in a voice call with some stranger. I hopped in the vc, and this stranger instantly became a good friend. 😊

We soon spent hours in our own calls, DMing each other ALL day. SO. MUCH. IN. COMMON. I've never related so much to a person. 🤩

Then I realized I actually had feelings for him. And he had feelings for me! Having that realization of butterflies was a shock, I never felt that before! 👁👄👁

Now, a year later, he asked me to marry him! We're not fully public with it yet, but I am so, so happy ❤️
