Raise your hand if you’ve been personally victimized by radioactive eggs

I’ve had 3 gastric emptying tests done in the last 5 years. The first one was a 2 hour test and I was laying down the entire time. I felt horribly sick and barely coughed down the egg meal. The second one was 4 hours long. I only ate the eggs and they took a picture while I was standing every hour. The last one I had I choked down everything but the water and they took a picture every hour while I was laying down. All off them had different results.

It’s definitely hit or miss what the accuracy of this test actually is. After my second one I had normal results then got a feeding tube a year and a half later. With that I think it’s a good test to have results of and use depending on other variables. Don’t be upset if it says normal and don’t feel like your symptoms are any less if it says that too!
