Happy DNA day, what makes you, you? I grew up with my white mom and grandmother so I knew a bit about them but as silly as it sounds we never knew why I was brown. What exactly was making me, me? I didn’t know who my dad was either so I was missing 50% of the information. Plot twist we matched on ancestry in 2020. I’d matched with cousins and such before but too match with someone and have it say parent child relationship was something else! At 23 years old I finally was connect with the man who I got half my DNA from. I found out too I have 4 siblings. Spoiler, the DNA is all I got from my dad. I took the ancestrydna test when I was 18 and the 23&me test when I was 23. Finding out I was all these things I had no idea about. Russian, French, African, a little greek even.
