Happy Valentine’s Day! 💖💌

Today I had 2 activities for my students!

First, we practiced following directions. Following multistep directions can be a challenge for my kiddos so this activity I found on TPT was a great way to practice. I read the directions out loud to students, and circulated to assist them. Students all had a copy of the directions with them at their desk as well.

After completing the multistep directions practice, I gave every student the choice of pink or blue foam soap. I sprayed a design for each student , then as a class we practiced drawing the shapes we have been learning in math this year!

After practicing shapes, students were able to draw, write in and play with the foam on their desk.

The best part of this activity, was that the foam was soap! It made my classroom smell nice and cleaned our desks!

I found these foam cans in the dollar section at Target. I bought 4 but only needed 2 for about 16 students. We will definitely be using them again in the future as a reward activity!

The kids had so much fun, and got to practice important skills.
