Bad Day.

This is a journal post mostly for myself, but if you are the type of person who struggles with allowing yourself to feel negative emotions (like me!), you’re not alone.

I was in a relationship for 2 years (2 1/2 years ago) and JUST found out (through a friend) that he most likely cheated on me.

I know cheating is a pretty loose term, since it means different things to different people. Luckily, I don’t believe that he was physically engaged with this person while we were still in a committed relationship, but he was at the very least talking to/hanging out with her.

It’s embarrassing for me, mostly. Thinking about who else knew, and how even though at the time it would’ve hurt like HELL to know this, it may have at least given me more closure than I had—the relationship ended very abruptly to me and I was not given a ‘why.’

And it’s weird because I don’t really have any proof and I have no desire to label this guy as a ‘cheater’ as, again, the term is very loose and we were very young.

It’s funny that my breaking point was finding out a spoiler for an anime that I stopped watiching years ago since I just KNEW something sad would happen and I clearly have some type of attachment/abandonment issues! 😀

Anyways, it’s okay to have bad days. And today will be better. Or it won’t. It’s okay either way.
