5 things I did right in my tiny bathroom

In my 20k home renovation, my favourite space in the house would be the kitchen and the master bathroom.

I remember racking my brain trying to figure out to how to fit a wet and dry area within my tiny bathroom of only 1.3m x 1.5m (I can literally touch one end of the bathroom when I reach out my arms, it's that small!)

Proud to say that after 2 years, here are 5 decisions I made right that I get to enjoy everyday.

1. Shower curtains, instead of glass panels.

+ helps separate wet and dry area

+ easy to maintain (change out curtains whenever, no glass stains to worry about)

+ flexible to sweep it around to create more space for movement

- mould! 🥹

2. Sink with countertop space

+ convenience of putting phone or items when at the sink or toilet bowl

3. Avoided concealed piping, as it eats into our already very tiny space.

+ planning where to put accessories and water heater is important! You don't adjust these things everyday, so just arrange them neatly so that the toilet "looks" spacious and uncluttered.

4. Gold accessories + pink scallop tiles combo!!! 😍

+ pretty things are comfortable to look at, makes toilet more welcoming (for me)

+ tiny scallop tiles aren't that difficult to maintain at all

- not all gold accessories are same shade of gold

- colored accessories fade after awhile

5. Installing magnetic mosquito nets

+ effective in preventing mosquitos, insects and lizards especially!

+ does not affect wind ventilation, still very windy!

- traps dust, but easy to remove and wash
