If you are anything like me then you are always thinking about your next hike! If you are wanting to start going on longer hikes then here are some things I pack in my hiking backpack. This is what I take for a moderate hike, around 3-5 miles.
1. Mothybot Backpack and Water Pack: I recently got this pack for my hikes and really like it! It’s not too big and fits everything I need. I bought the one with a 3 liter water pack which allows me to bring more than enough water on my hikes.
2. Sunglasses: You always need to protect your eyes! I also typically wear a hat to also give me more protection from the sun.
3. Hair Tie: It’s always a good idea to have an extra hair tie for yourself or if a friend forgets one.
4. Hydration Packets: Never a bad idea to have some of these on you. Helps you get hydrated much more quickly by using up less of your water supply.
5. Snacks: For this hike I brought some granola and an antioxidant mix. Snacks are always a necessity for any occasion 😋
6. Jacket: During the spring season, the weather can change quickly. I always like to pack a jacket in case of emergencies and for more sun coverage.
7. First Aid Kit: Accidents happen! Better to be safe than sorry!
I also forgot to mention that I always bring some extra sunscreen and treats for my dog! 🐾 Hope this helped some of you on your next adventure. Happy hiking! 🥾
