Advice For My Younger Self About Money

You have a big heart and you want to help others. These are beautiful qualities that I hope you never lose. But because of this people will try to take advantage of you.

So please, do NOT loan money to people. Especially not someone you love because it can ruin the relationship and you may never get that money back.

You’re going to want to believe the best in people. You’re going to want to believe that your partner loves you so much they’d never be selfish and steal from you or lie about paying you back. You’ll want to believe that you’re in this together.

Keep private about your money so others don’t take advantage. Nobody is entitled to know what you have in your bank account or what you’re making at your job.
