you can get rid of bacne with just ONE PRODUCT.

ah yes, the enigma of bacne. it’s insufferable, annoying and unattractive. sometimes, straight up painful — in my experience.

i’ve suffered from bacne since i hit puberty and there have been instances where it’s been so bad, that i’ve avoided wearing tops that show off my shoulders. mine were painful and itchy, and made me so insecure because no one around me seemed to have it. they would sometimes make their way to my chest, so i would just bundle up and never show any skin.

thankfully, i found a solution. this is all thanks to my sister’s visit to the dermatologist for her eczema, and that solution is the 𝐍𝐞𝐨𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐚 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐥𝐲𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐑𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐦𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐨𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ($46) — it has such a long name, i know.

it contains AHA (alpha hydroxy acid), that speeds up the renewal of your skin by chemically exfoliating it. over time your skin will become more even in texture and colour. i just lather and smoothen a layer of it on the affected areas every night before bed and 𝙫𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙖! — the effects were life changing for me. i will say, however, that it doesn’t have the most pleasant smell and 𝘾𝘼𝙉 𝙎𝙏𝙄𝙉𝙂, but that’s perfectly normal and nothing to be alarmed by (unless it doesn’t stop, then maybe wash it off).

i’ve been using this since i was 16 and honestly, it’s the only thing that worked for me. i don’t like to scrub my back with a loofah and an exfoliating scrub, because the possibility of the texture being inconsistent across my back was undesirable to me. it also wasn’t as effective, because i tried it for 6 months and my back still looked like what it does in my cover picture.

i would honestly say it’s worth the investment considering how effective it is. i also double it up and use it as spot treatment for any zits i get on my face & it’s pretty effective for getting rid of them.
