☁️ I think the cross out of phrases is smart. It shows the change of thought more promptly which is important to who she is.

☁️ Warner and Adam are both questionable in this book. If you've seen anything on them you know already but I mean...

☁️ I am the kind of person to not read too much into a book and just enjoy the journey. I think if I had paid attention I would have picked up on some things that are important.

☁️ It's very dystopian which is one of my more enjoyable plots and settings.

☁️ The idea of teens with powers is commonly used but you definitely need it in these kinds of books.

☁️ As the series goes it does get better and more enjoyable. This first book was necessary world building and the start of a journey. You also probably establish ideas that won't hold for very long and it will shock you later.
