Honestly, it was hard to hear about the things she has to endure from her own mother. This book made me feel so sorry for Jennette McCurdy, and I hope she has a peaceful life moving forward.

If you go to read this book, just be warned that it discusses things like alcoholism, eating disorders, and having a narcissistic mother. They’re talked about at length, which in the context of the book makes sense, but sometimes I did have to take a break from the book.
