Why should I thrift? And why would it be a middle finger to the government?

Lots of thrift stores are also charities or donate to charities! Thrifting is a great way to reduce waste, stimulate the local economy, create jobs and can be a great place to get clothes without spending a lot of money! The government benefits from us buying new things while tossing old stuff out! By supporting small businesses and doing our best to direct our money towards causes we support we can influence the world around us in positive ways!
