I had such a great holiday with family, friends, and LOTS of food. But I definitely caught myself feeling guilty about what I ate over the long weekend, & I hate that we punish our bodies just for enjoying good food :/
I used to have a horrible relationship with food and would punish myself after holidays with hours in the gym & little to no food, which would just leave me feeling even worse.
I think it’s good to go back to your healthy habits after a holiday weekend, and I love doing mini ‘resets’ to do that! But this year I wanted to be so intentional about honoring my body with movement & nourishing foods to reset instead of punishing it like I used to!
So here’s a glimpse into my post-thanksgiving reset ft. LOTS of leftover turkey :)
