a look into a woman’s stay at a psych ward

Susanna writes about the two years she spent in a psychiatric hospital in the 60s and the girls she spent time with. This was definitely an interesting and eye opening read. I’ve never read anything about psych wards or about the mental illnesses in this book. Overall I would recommend reading this if you aren’t familiar with mental illnesses and the facilities, as it was very eye opening for me! Check trigger warnings!
