7 Steps to a Clean Room

Sometimes cleaning your room can be difficult, especially when you don’t know where to start. Maybe you procrastinate like I often do. Having a list to go off of can be very helpful so here are 7 easy tasks for a clean room.

1. Start by making your bed. This will instantly make your room look neater and more put together.

2. Clear off any surfaces, such as your desk, dresser, or nightstand. Put away any items that don't belong there and wipe down the surface.

3. Sort through your clothes and put away any clean clothes that are lying around. Put dirty clothes in a hamper or laundry basket.

4. Declutter your room by getting rid of any items that you no longer need or use. This can include old papers, magazines, or broken items.

5. Vacuum or sweep the floor to get rid of any dust or dirt.

6. Organize your belongings by putting things away in their proper places. This can include books on a bookshelf, shoes in a closet, or jewelry in a box.

7. Take out the trash and recycling.

(Optional) Finish by doing a final sweep of your room to make sure everything is in its place and your room is clean and tidy.
