VIRAL MAYBELLINE FOUNDATION??? MY HONEST OPINION

The #Maybelline Super Stay Lumi-Matte Foundation has been making the rounds on social media lately and I was keen on trying this as soon as it was released in Malaysia!

💰Price: 65 myr (I recommend getting on sale, I purchased this for 41 myr on Shopee after using vouchers 🤓)

👍Why I like it: I ❤️ the amount of coverage this had. it covered my hyperpigmentation and evened out my skin with only ONE pump of foundation 🥹🫡

💦The texture was a semi-runny liquid that was very easy to spread. A little goes a LONG way!

😮 The finish is AMAZING! It felt like a thinner version of the Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation. although I don't think it's very glowy or luminous, contrary to the name. It is a satin matte - which means it's not going to suck out all the moisture in your face BUT it is still matte and you should expect it to look matte. My skin texture was smoothed out and my skin looked flawless!!

💧It is transferproof and sets very quickly on the skin. It is quite similar to the TirTir cushion foundation in that regard. It won't budge as soon as you blend it out. Awesome for people who live in hot and humid climates. 80% of people won't need to use a powder because this is truly mattifying.

🤔 Although it seems to oxidize quite badly on my hand I was pleased to report that shade 119 did not turn orange or too yellow on my neutral beige skin tone. 🥳

☹️ The shade range is honestly very confusing 🥲. The oxidation will definitely be a problem for many people and unless you are very experienced with buying foundation online I suggest waiting for this foundation to pop up in a kiosk at Watson's or Guardian where you can swatch it in person before buying it.

🔥 BEST FOR... Combination and Oily skinned folks who want an everyday & polished foundation to even out the skin. Dry skin will need to really moisturize before using this.
