•break the habit, a lot of times I notice sugar consumption with my clients is simply a habit

•check for hidden sugars in foods & opt for alternatives

•avoid artificial sweeteners… pleaseee

•manage stress levels

•satisfy it with something sweet but more nutrient dense like dates, almond butter, dark chocolate, fruit, etc.

it might be overused, but balance is everything. we know sugar isn’t great for our health and we definitely shouldn’t over consume it. but having it every now and then (like the salted caramel cream filled donut you only get every 2-3 years) won’t make or break our health goals. remember that.
