DIY lash extensions

When I found out I could do my lashes at home, I got on Amazon and ordered everything realllll quick! 🤩

My first attempt was messyyyy. I got glue everywhere, it used to take me longer than it takes me now, but practice makes perfect. I’ve put lashes on myself about 7 times now, and I have not had any issues with my natural lashes.

The only issue I really have is placing them to where they look identical on both eyes once finished. 🙄 My lashes on each lash sometimes look a little off. I think I’m going to start working on both eyes rather than finishing one eye and moving on to the next.

Last time I put them on, I put my lashes on my right eye a tad bit higher than my left… I thought it would be smart to just trim them a little “no biggie bc my natural eye lashes are not long” well I was wrong!! I ended up trimming some of my natural lashes which now are much shorter than my left natural eyelashes😭😭 moral of the story DO NOT cut extensions or falsies when they’re are placed on your eye 🥴anyways, other than that the lash extensions have been great!

Everything I use is from Amazon. They’re all by the brand Quewel. Quewel has a variety of lash styles. I bought the Natural D because I like prefer a a natural wet look, rather than the mega volume lashes. Also, all items were sold separate- Lashes, tweezers, and bonds.

The lash map I used starting from the inner corner out is 8, 10, 10, 12, 14, 16, 14mm. You can always look up other lash maps that are for your eye shape. 😊

The lash extensions usually last me max 6 days. I’ve heard some diy lash extensions have lasted girls 10+ days, but for some reason on the 6th day for me, they are already falling. But hey, I don’t complain, because 6 days is better than 1 or 2

Once they fall, I wait 2 days minimum before reapplying a new set.
