Things to do @ Put-In-Bay!

Thinking about going to the Middle Bass Islands? They are so fun! Here are some of the things I recommend doing! 😊

- Visit Perry’s Monument!

•• if you are there to sightsee and explore the island, the monument (pictured on the first slide) is quite the thing to see! You can go inside and climb all the way to the top and look out over Lake Erie. It makes for a great little side quest.

- Go to Mojito Bay!

•• When you walk into this bar, you’re greeted with sand on the ground and swings around the bar! Each mojito is $11 and there are a number of flavors to choose from! They also serve domestic beer and other options like coconuts! I would 10/10 recommend visiting this spot for live music and great tropical vibes 🙌🏼

- Visit the Winery!

•• If you’re looking for a more laid back area to hang out and still get some drinks, go to the put in bay winery! They have wine slushies, mixed drinks, and food options as well. The outside bar served domestic beer, and other wine selections. Feeling adventurous? Try a wine flight! ❤️

- Get a Fishbowl!

•• When I go back to the islands, this is the first place I’m heading back to! I personally don’t like the taste of alcohol, and these fishbowls were perfect! I loved them so much. We also had shark shots added in, which were a strawberry type liquor. There are two options for a fishbowl, but for it being my first time, my bf and I shared the 32 oz. 👌🏼

- Get the best pizza on the island at Frosty’s

•• The pizza (not pictured) at Frosty’s was amazing, hands down. You have the option to side inside or outside. If you prefer somewhere that is a little quieter and you are actually able to hear your group talk, outside would be the better option. I also ordered a blueberry margarita and I was pleasantly surprised by the taste! It was made with actual muddled and blended blueberries and boy was it GOOD! 🤤

If you’re thinking about going to Put In Bay, definitely research where you want to go and make a plan throughout the day. Also, make sure that you’re safe! Have a designated driver in place if you are planning on drinking. While walking around, you can’t have any open containers so it’s important to note that you have to stay in one place while you’re drinking or eating.
