How I knew he was the one👰🏽‍♀️

Story time! So I actually knew him since middle school. We wouldn’t talk much, he was my friends friend so we didn’t have the same friend group. But we knew each other. We’d talk sometimes, and I didn’t start to have a crush on him until high school. But then I moved away and we didn’t get to know each other more. Then he dm’d me randomly and we started talking and he wanted to come see me, I moved like 40 mins away. But he was insisting. At the time I was living with my mom and she was way too strict so she didn’t let me go on a date with him 🥲 then we just both moved on.

Fast forward to 2022, I had met this girl from work and we got along pretty well. We planned to go the club but she was on ft with her sister before we took off and I recognized a males voice in the background. (His friend was dating my work friends sister at the time) And it was him! I then asked her if I could talk to him, and we were just asking each other how we were and then he invited me to go bowling with them next week. So I did, we hugged and caught up. We were talking the whole time I was there.

We didn’t talk again for a couple months, I was just focusing on work and spending time with my family. He asked me out again but I kinda ghosted him🥺 I feel bad now, but he stopped texting me and then we started talking again randomly and we both planned to go to a bar, in FortCollins. They host something called ramband every Thursday and you get free drinks if you buy a band to get in. So we did that cause it sounded fun. We had a blast and we kissed for the first time, and let me tell you. I’ve never felt anything like that before with anyone else. After that we just hanged out every single day. And he officially asked me out a month later. He took me on a trip to Cali to go see The Weeknd 😩 and we’re still together to this day. He’s so sweet and he has helped me so much. I’m gonna marry him soon 🥰
