summer style | neutrals

it’s no secret that (almost) my entire wardrobe belongs on the neutral side of the color wheel. some would call it brilliant (just building a capsule wardrobe over here!), some would call it lifeless. whether it’s because i work in fashion and consider neutrals to be ~chic,~ or because i live in new york where the entire city dresses in mourning, a neutral outfit is a happy outfit. well, atleast in my book it is. my style leans more on the classic, timeless side (shoutout princess diana and sofia richie grainge) rather than the trendy side. i drool over the row, anything karl lagerfeld touched, and vintage chanel. with timeless and simplicity in mind, my heart will forever belong to anything and everything in a navy tone. It’s timeless, chic, versatile, simple, all the above.

navy pairs well with any color, but preferably white. not only do the two balance eachother out with a subtle contrast, but the pairing isn’t married to a specific season as it can be worn year round. including a few recent ootds in the color palette here!
