Homemade Twix Bars
These are such a rich and decadent sweet treat! They are surprisingly made with better for you ingredients but taste as delicious as the classic candy bar.
Ingredients
Crust
2/3 cup coconut flour
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
3 tablespoons maple syrup
Caramel
1/2 cup all natural peanut butter
1/3 cup maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup melted coconut oil
Topping
1 tablespoon melted coconut oil
1/2 cup unsweetened chocolate chips
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a square pan with parchment paper.
Mix the crust ingredients together. Press down into the pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
Then, add the caramel ingredients to a small saucepan over low heat. Mix together, stirring, until smooth and creamy. Pour over the baked crust.
Then, stir together the topping ingredients.
Place pan in the fridge or freezer until firm.
Finally, carefully slice and serve!
