Why we eloped!

Family drama! That’s the gist of it anyway. In the end it seemed easier and more enjoyable for us to elope on our own and in secret. We booked a cute place in Dallas and made a whole vacation out of it. We stayed in a hotel that looked out over a river and spent amazing quality time together. We didn’t tell anyone until afterwards.

We had no drama to worry about. No toxicity around us. Just us and our love towards each other. Perfect ✨

We had planned to do a ceremony eventually but I’m thinking that’s out the window considering more recent family drama (see post on that). Now I think we will just spend that money to go out of the country for a bit.

I 10000% recommending eloping. I don’t regret a single thing!
