Birthday traditions for our kids✨

They wake up the a decorated area in the house! We blow up balloons, have a fun breakfast (usually donuts with a candle lol), and then they open their birthday presents from us!

After breakfast and gifts, we take them to do things we enjoy. We take them shopping, get their birthday build-a-bear (HIGHLY recommend!!!). Then we take them to do all the fun things they enjoy like the park, Dave and Busters, bowling, the zoo, etc! It’s their day so we let them choose!

The night of their birthday we always go to our favorite restaurant for dinner! We invite our family (grandparents, cousins, aunts/uncles) and have a big fun family dinner!

The weekend before/after their birthday is when we do their birthday party. The other weekend before/after, we take them on a small trip for their birthday. Experiences and travel are important to us. We want our children to see new, exciting things. This year we took them to Branson for my daughters birthday and we are going to Dallas for our sons birthday!
