Baja Blast Gelato Review

Firstly, this thing is TINY! It’s 3.6 fluid oz. At my Taco Bell, it cost about $5 for one. It’s a steep price for a very small portion.

I really liked the flavor, it tasted just like a Baja Blast drink. I think the citrusy flavor works really well in this frozen, shaved-ice style of snack.

I’ve heard that people do not consider this gelato. I’ve never had *real* gelato before but I would say this is more comparable to shaved ice.

It’s a bit of a drive from a Taco Bell location to my home or work. I noticed the gelato had started to melt before I managed to get back to my desk. It’s not much different from a frozen drink, but for $5, I do not want to have to drink my gelato. I think now I know why fast food chains shouldn’t serve gelato. Just a thought.

I really liked this product but I’m not willing to buy it again at $5 each. I think if Taco Bell chose to sell these in a pack at grocery stores it’d do really well. Maybe not fast food chains.

Is it worth the price? - no.

Would I recommend it? - no, I think you wouldn’t be missing out on much.
