finally posting abt my tattoos!! 🙈✨

Hello! I’ve abt 10 tattoos - done 4 in SG, 1 in HCM, 1 in Bali and here’s my top 3 tattoos studio to do!

1️⃣ Bali Dream Ink Private Tattoo Studio

Tattoo artist : Dede

He’s the most friendly tattoo artist I’ve met (other than Papi)! He learnt his skills in SG but decided to work in Bali. They reply v promptly via Whatsapp as well, very easy to book appointment :)

This is also the cheapest place I’ve done my tattoo!! Less than $200 for a detailed coloured tattoo 🤯

I’ve asked around in sg abt this design that I want before deciding to do in Bali, but all ranged around $300-400+ 🥲

2️⃣ Crooked Spine Tattoo Studio

Tattoo artist : scarlettpokes (IG)

One of the most expensive and painful tattoo I’ve done, but the only one that do handpoke + do v cute designs!! I just told her what I want and she designed the rabbits for me (those who know will know my inspo is 陳情令 heh), love it!!

3️⃣ Monster Ink Tattoo HCM

Tattoo artist : idk, it’s a female. They just assigned for me haha.

Sent them the designs I want, but they only started drafting when I reach, which is q unlike other studios where they alr prepare beforehand. In the end, took like 1+hr before everything starts. However, she does give me advice on the sizing and position etc and the results turned out v well!

Pricing is pretty decent ~$350 for such a detailed work and she done it pretty fast, within 2-3hrs? 👏

Also, they have many food stalls outside and are super yummy!!!! 🤤

ReViet Juice (pure fresh fruit juice 💯)

Things to do BEFORE having a tattoo:

- stay hydrated

- eat before going

- wear comfy clothes

- don’t be drunk/on drugs

Things to do AFTER:

- put moisturiser daily (vaseline/papaw ointment)

- don’t scratch/peel when it starts to peel (it’s normal to peel), when it’s itchy just put more moisturiser

- avoid sun exposure

- avoid getting it wet, wipe dry immediately after shower (I’m a swim coach so I do go into the pool everyday even after doing tattoos, so just find a wrap to wrap it to keep it dry, then cleanse it after)

Should I tattoo?

Tbh my mum don’t allow, but I still do it HAHA I just think if it’s meaningful and looks cute on me, then it’s a good reason hehe so yeap, if u wanna hide from ppl then do it on areas where clothes can cover :) if not, u paid money to do on ur skin, might as well show it off rite? 😛

Will probably do 1 more in Philippines next year, by the famous tattoo artist Whang-od, hope she’s still alive and well when I go! Follow for updates 😉
