🍋planning on trying Floor is Lava?? | READ THIS‼️

Recently I want to Griddy Grid for the floor is lava (i have seen this all over tiktok & I finally got to try it for myself😆😆) I was super excited and definitely did not prepare myself for how much fun I was going to have.

They are located near Haji Lane, so it’s super convenient, but do remember to make a reservation before coming down! I went with my boyf, but honestly, please go on a double date or bring more friends along because 2 people VS 120 blue tiles is insane. WE WERE DEFEATED (okay, more like I was defeated 🤣. My boyf was doing all the work towards the end. I’m just unfit okay, please forgive me)

Before the game starts, you get to choose your difficulty level, ranging from [beginner-intermediate-hard], and we chose beginner because we’re unfit 😬 (you can change your difficulty level even after the game has started if you feel like it’s too hard/easy - I remember seeing a kids’ level too).

Here’s how the game works:

🟩 GREEN: SAFE ZONE

In each level, the green zone will always be different (aka my resting zone, let my man do all the work 😁).

🟦 BLUE: THE GOAL

You’ll need to tap on all 120 blue grids to advance to the next level (note that there are blue tiles on the wall too!! We didn’t know this and stood there like idiots 😫, thinking why we didn’t advance to the next level).

🟥 RED: LAVA

The speed and patterns are different depending on the difficulty of the game you chose.

🛟 5 LIVES

You get 5 lives every round (every time you step on the red tiles, 1 life will be deducted). But don’t worry, even after using up the 5 lives, the same round will reset.

⏳ 25 MINUTES

It indeed was 25 minutes of non-stop FUN!!😆

Of course, we didn’t complete the mission, but I’m definitely going to go back again to complete it (going to bring more friends next time) Pls conserve you’re energy at the start and dont be like me. I was running & jumping at the start and towards the end i jst 💀💀

📸📹 You can also record your game, they have a phone holder mounted on the wall! I had a good laugh watching the video afterward.

TIPS‼️ (for those who don’t know what to wear/prepare):

👟 PLEASE wear comfortable shoes (you don’t want your feet hurting from all the fun)

👱🏻‍♀️ Gurlies, please bring a hair tie

🩳 Wear something light or sports attire (even though it’s air-conditioned, you’ll be sweating!). I’m glad I wore a sports top & shorts🤧

Overall, would I recommend going here? YESSSS without a doubt!!!!
