Managed to tick paragilding off my bucket list! Danyang is a city famous for its mountain views, making it the perfect place to paraglide😍 It was my first time & I absolutely loved the view and the entire experience, would definitely paraglide again!

Once you purchase your ticket, you would be required to watch an instruction video of how the whole paragliding process works. What many people might not know is that you would be required to run while the pilot tries to get the parachute to pick up the wind behind you & you are NOT allowed to stop running. If you do, both of you would fall down😢😅. Its more difficult than it seems as you would be standing on the edge of the mountain/cliff, not to mention the cold wind during winter. During the flight, you would be seated on a bag below your pilot, which makes the experience more comfortable and safe. The entire flight time is about 7-8minutes & it might change base on the weather conditions.

Ticket price:

Paragliding: 90,000 KRW

Paragliding + video: 110,000 KRW

It is worth to get the ticket with the video option as this is a once in a lifetime experience & you would definitely want to document it. The video will be airdropped/bluetooth over to your phone so make sure to double check that the video your received is yours!

How to get there:

Bus - There is no direct bus from Seoul but there is a bus from Danyang Station. You may refer here

Car - It is about a 2.5 hour drive from Seoul, there are parking facilities in the area.
